IQOS device is a better alternative, used with heated tobacco products. It is not true that constituent parts of the heated tobacco product filter fuses and melts. Let us tell and show you why.
Made from corn resin, naturally decomposes
The part of the filter discussed in this text is made from a plant-based material – corn resin – which decomposes naturally. In the production of the filter, the corn mass is processed into thin sheets and then crimped into shape so that it gradually cools the inhaled vapors. Thus, the main role of this material is to cool down the aerosol and absorb potentially harmful chemicals.
Why does filter change?
IQOS owners note that the color and texture of the filter change at the end of the heating cycle. This is a natural process. During use, corn resin molecules are first exposed to a warm aerosol. It passes through the filter, cools the vapor and removes the excess water. Because of this process, filter color and texture change at the end of the heating cycle.
As IQOS heated tobacco technology does not burn but instead heats the tobacco, switching completely to IQOS presents less risk to your health than continuing to smoke*.
Key facts about the filter for heated tobacco products:
- made from corn resin;
- able to remove some toxic substances.
